So.

So. I'm going to Genting with my family. *shrugs* I don't know how much fun that'll be, but when I return, the pictures shall speak their thousand words.

How am I to survive in a foreign country without:
- my friends
- my internet
- my local modes of communication (MSN, SMS)

Hah, it seems eons ago that I have left the country for more than a day. Allow me to recollect. Nope no recollection. So it's been at least a year without being deprived of the above essentials. The most naked of these essentials I've ever gone to was during camps, when I'm deprived of MSN and internet, and the occasional SMSes. But I still had the company of friends, in a way or another.

I had wanted to drag Sam to Genting with me, but she felt it'd be awkward. And Krystle too, for that matter. Pity, she would only have returned from Denmark after I leave. Gah, there seems no one else I can drag across seas to the neighbouring country - to the themepark, whom I can let loose with and literally drag around the themepark and taking rides. How thrilling can these rides be with the only (and rather annoying) sibling who meets the height requirement of most thrill rides? *pouts* Oh nevermind.

Tonight, I've decided to keep myself awake. Some medication is making me drowsy, but I'm trying to fight it and have myself sleep only on the coach later in the morning because... What the hell do you expect me to do on the long coach ride. I don't remember. The last time I had a long trip to any destination was also months, months, months ago!

Gah, I can't do this. I can't make it through. WHAT AM I TO DO! I'm totally unaccustomed to foreign life!

Okay. I overreact. This whole long post - in case people think I've died. I'm serious. Connie thought I was dead, a few days ago.

HOHO

I'm hyper. (oh yes, I'm back from Genting. Yes yes)

We're CRAZY I tell you.
So, I went out with Krystle and Alessa. It was a totally wacky day and we pretty much busted all our money. Well, I'm speaking for Alessa and Krystle haha! Briefly - Prata, town, tops, Alessa's confi dress, and then insanity. So yes, first we took crazy neoprints. Okay, actually it's mainly me who's crazy, but nevermind. Then after that we decided to go to Esplanade to sit by the river and look suicidal but along the way, we also contemplated getting on the river tour thingy. HAHA and so we decided that if it was before 5 bucks we'd go for it. So we were approached by the man who sells tickets.

Man: Xiao mei mei ah ni men yao bu yao zhuo chuan?
Me: Duo shao qian?
Man: Shi Er (12) Kuai er yi
Me: Ke yi shi er kuai san ge ren ma?
Man: Bu ke yi la. Ni men yao, wo suan ni men pian yi la. Liu kuai yao ma?

$6! We're given the child's fare, so it was pretty fun. I mean, that's like half the price, and close enough to the $5 budget we sorta planned. After that, before boarding the boat, we were giggling and laughing non-stop cos it really looked impulsive and crazy to have gotten the tickets. 3 Singaporean teenagers on a boat meant for tourists.

So on the boat, we waved to everyone, took pictures and was just crazy. That made our money's worth!

Okay I'm lazy to go on! I'm happy. ARE YOU HAPPY!? I JUST BOOKED TICKETS FOR HARRY POTTER YAYNESS!

So!

After days of anti-socialism, I finally went out today! It was a pretty stonish day, because I guess the both of us were really drained from godknowswhat but krystle ahhhh you looked rather down. SMILE K. SMILING IS COOL, you got braces for a reason man. Despite being very stoned and not exactly spending as much as I wanted to plus rather down earlier the evening, I went home happy because I visited Kino! And when I went home and realised that my shopping trip had yielded only 1 top and 1 skirt, I was rather GAHish, but I got over it because I'm in total love with POOFY skirts. POOFY all the way. POOFY!

I'll be leaving for Taiwan tomorrow. ;_; Gah, the itinery sounds horrible, it's like we're going for a cultural trip or something. I have no probs with that, I guess. Just, there is nothing on the itinery that says shopping or anything fun like dancing in cool traditional costumes or something (well, that's not exactly fun. But you get the drift.) So there goes, absolute sight-seeing.

I'm hoping the hotels are fine to live in. I mean, I'm not expecting 5-star-hotels or the like, but something reasonable, like it having lights... and power. Because GUESS WHAT - the bloody tour agency told us to bring a torchlight. WHY - in case power fails. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! I'm not looking forward to a power failure in any dirty cockroach-infested motel. Just tell me the torch won't come in handy. (BUT WHY. FOR THE TOUR AGENCY TO TELL US THAT. IT MUST HAPPEN OFTEN! ;___;)

Glompness. My mom refuses to let me not sleep. ): So I probably have to sleep *mutters* She thinks that once I start not sleeping for one day I'll go on forever. Yeah, as if I could hold out.

Taiwan

I AM FINALLY FINALLY BACK FROM TAIWAN! OMG! I made a fool of myself there not being able to speak chinese. Yay for ning.

The trip was fine. Not really fun. Not especially when the fashion scene there is totally out of your league. There wasn't much fun shopping, every stall was the same here and there. I got some things though. And that includes a pair of earrings and guess what! I don't have ear holes! Well, at least I meant they closed. To the people of lalaland ): I'm sorry I didn't get anything for you because there really isn't anything at taiwan. No, really. ;______;

PICTURES. Few pics because I'm glompish.

OH YES... uh I got boots too. Can you believe it? T^T

Trying on boots!

BEEENG Bubble TEA!

At some tv studio place

HAHA :P Don't ask. We had to PAY to wear that for like that few minutes -_-

WHEE

PIGGIE! I got two of these from you know... that clawing machine that people always fail XD I didn't GET it though, it was my tour guide who got it for me. Yayness. I like piggies, didn't you know that yet?

Picking tomatoes. Yay how fun. I got like 10? And the total was only 80cents in Singapore!

Can you believe the thing behind is a hotel!?
